The newly appointed Commander Kenya Air Force (KAF) Major General Francis Ogolla commenced his maiden visit to KAF Formations on 20 July 2018 where he visited Forward Operating Base (FOB) Wajir.

He also visited Mariakani, Mombasa, Laikipia and Moi Air Bases between 24 and 27 July 2018 before concluding the tour at the Defence Technical Training College (DEFTEC), Embakasi Garrison.

During the visits, the Commander shared with the soldiers his strategic vision for KAF which is in line with KAF Mission to be a premier Air Force that delivers Air Defence 24/7.

In his address, Maj Gen Ogolla outlined his high expectations from the Service Members including discipline, commitments to duty and care for military equipments and installations. He assured the KAF family of fairness and his full support in capacity building and resourcing.
