Kenya Air Force’s Moi Air Base, Eastleigh, mounted the Guard of Honour during the State of the Nation Address by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces Honourable Uhuru Kenyatta at the joint special sitting of The National Assembly and The Senate.

During the colorful display of parade mounted by the Kenya Air Force, the President was accompanied by the Chief of the Defence Forces General Samson Mwathethe , Commander Kenya Army Lieutenant General Robert Kibochi, Commander Kenya Air Force Major General Samuel Thuita and Commander Kenya Navy Major General Levy Mghalu and other senior military officers.

The parade was commanded by Major Mugambi Muthuri assisted by Captain Collins Odhiambo. Colour Officer was Lieutenant Karisa Kazungu escorted by Sergeant Martin Chege and Sergeant Solomon Magut while Warrant Officer Class One David Mutai was the Parade Regimental Sergeant Major.
