The Kenya Air Force’s Rapid Deployment Squadron has rescued 175 locals in Garashi, Kilifi County, following overnight heavy rains which led to River Sabaki bursting its banks.

The Kenya Air Force as one of the three services of the Kenya Defence Forces is mandated to assist and cooperate with other authorities in situations of emergency and disaster and will continue to fulfill this role.
